According to statistics, attacks to ATMs have increased significantly in recent years. There are various attack methods: from skimming to cash trapping, but above all the use of explosive gas is growing.
In the event of an explosion, the damage caused to the ATM and often also to the surrounding structures, are more extensive than the "loot" itself.
AGATHA is a device designed specifically to prevent a possible explosion caused by the introduction of gas.
The card detects the presence of explosive gases, for example acetylene, and triggers a relay for the activation of other inerting or staining devices for banknotes, depending on the security system provided by the customer.
Thanks to the use of sensors of different technologies, the device is also immune to oxygen poisoning that sometimes precedes the introduction of the explosive gas.
