4NH3LL-100 New long-life ammonia sensor

Honeywell has recently released a new ammonia electrochemical cell, 4NH3LL, with distinguishing features.

Major remarkable aspect is its ability to withstand an ammonia background for a long period of time without compromising any cell's specifications, thus bringing its expected life to 1 year (in constant presence of 30ppm of NH3).

Another point to mention is the extended temperature range which, in periodic sampling mode, allows the cell to work from -40°C to +50°C.

These features are fundamental in smart agriculture applications, or for all those sectors where the ammonia concentration is continuously at significant levels.
