AGATHA is a detector of explosive gases for ATMs or safe-deposite boxes. Ensures sensitivity to all combustible gases, especially to those used to cause explosions such as acetylene, butane, propane hydrogen and methane (the system is immune to attempts at oxygen poisoning).
The reliability level of the alarm signal is guaranteed by two appropriately calibrated gas sensors and is managed by a microprocessor that controls the analog voltage generated by the individual modules in order to monitor the progress of the signals, make compensations in temperature or humidity, detect any failure states of the individual sensors and much more.
The system communicates with the central unit via RS485 with an ad-hoc protocol.
It is based on Figaro gas sensors, world leader in the production of semiconductor gas sensors.
